Lilea Duran is self portrait photographer, most of the time. She has a passion for artistic and conceptual
nudes, but also has a pang every now and then to get down and dirty with industrial and urban decay
photography. She has been dabbling in photography for the past five years and recently opened a gallery
in Vallejo, CA that showcases emerging photographers.

Circles
Circles captures a discarded piece of metal near a maintenance shed at the NIKE missile site in the Marin
Highlands, CA. The NIKE missile site was built during the cold war as a last defense against Soviet
bombers. Today the 280 sites serve as museums cared for by volunteers who work with the Golden Gate
Recreation Area to restore this valuable historic resource.
2983
2983 is part of a series taken on my way home from work as I passed through the Napa Valley. The
thick, gooey mud littered with broken bottles, broken machinery, and abandoned cars. I was amazed to
find the poorer families in this city fishing in the river. The scene shed a new light on 'Wine Country' for me.
