SPOTLIGHT POET JILL FRISCHHERTZ - IN HER OWN WORDS

Why did you choose this graduate creative writing program?
Various poems by Sandra Alcosser and Ilya Kaminsky drew me to this program.

What do you believe are the key benefits of this MFA Program?
The faculty is the program’s biggest asset.  Not only are they amazing writers, they are also
incredible teachers of the craft.  They offer ample one-on-one time.  The program also
provides its MFA students plenty of teaching opportunities.

What are you hoping your MFA in Creative Writing will do for you?
I hope my degree will lead to a future filled with creative writing as well as opportunities to
teach the art.
