THE ARTIST - IN HER OWN WORDS:

I didn’t know how to express myself clearly to people so I started to draw and write.  I currently work in
photography, and digital imaging. I take from everything that I’ve learned in my previous mediums and
apply it to what I currently create. I’ve been doing photography for nine years and besides filmmaking,
this is my favorite medium.

Art is supposed to challenge the viewer intellectually and philosophically while maintaining aesthetic
values and that’s what I intend to do when I create a piece. Some of my photography focuses on music
and the psychological effects it plays on society and other work focuses on the psychological, behavioral,
and philosophical aspects of the human psyche. Photography to me is a way to speak and challenge the
world, but it also helps to perceive and create a new world.

Some of my work I make for music and sometimes my work is just stealing what I see in everyday life;
some I think are silly while others are quite necessary. If my art was to sound like music it would sound
like Sun 0)))), Merzbow, Thee More Shallow, Boris, KTL, getting close to electronic/noise and that’s just
what I want it to sound like. I don’t make art for others, I make it for myself. It’s something that I need to
do. If I didn’t have my art I would not exist.
