Martin E. Rollins was born in 1969 and raised in Detroit Michigan. He was self taught through a
manual K 1000 Pentax camera, and still predominately shoots film.
He currently lives in Chicago and primarily shoots abstract and minimalist photography; paying close
attention to composition. He discovered that in this manner it is one way that he could detach himself
from photographing and also allow the viewer to be alone with what he or she is feeling through the
photos themselves.
It is the feeling that others experience about themselves that is important to him.
